Washoe Valley Vacation Rentals

Most vacation rentals near the Washoe Valley area don't have the unique history you'll find at Tunnel Creek Lodge.  Located on Ponderosa Ranch, a western themed tourist attraction, it is a replica of the Cartwright Ranch House from TV's Bonanza.  Although, the show itself was not shot in the Ranch House, parts of the show were filmed in the area and on the lake shore. Thousands of people have visited Ponderosa Ranch since it opened in 1967. Tunnel Creek Lodge was built with the Cartwright Ranch House as inspiration but the lodge itself has today's modern luxuries and conveniences.
