Tunnel Creek Lodge is a unique home rental near the Reno area. Built in 1999 and inspired by TV's Bonanza Cartwright Ranch Home, it has old world charm with all of today's modern conveniences. You won't find other luxury rental houses this big, with six bedrooms and five bathrooms and a dinning to fit 18.  With rustic modern log cabin d'cor, you and your guests will enjoy flat screen televisions, pool tables, hot tubs and outdoor horse shoe pits for hours of fun.

Unlike most rental houses, Tunnel Creek was built on history. Tunnel Creek Lodge sits on Ponderosa Ranch near the Reno area. Ponderosa Ranch opened for business in 1967 and is a western themed attraction. Modeled after the home of the Cartwright's on TV's Bonanza, Ponderosa Ranch is located near stables and the lake shore where some of the shows filming took place. Thousands of tourists visit Ponderosa Ranch annually and was the driving force behind the inspiration for the Tunnel Creek home rental property.
